Victorinox produced 2 different series of pocket knives in the 100 mm size. These were the series numbers 200 - 204 and 462 - 476. The best-known representative of the 200 - 204 series was the model 1890 and model 1908 soldier's knife, model no. 200. The other series, numbers 462 - 476, were pocket knives for horticulture with special blades for plant care. The first models, then produced under the numbers 288 and 289, had an original size of 104 mm, which was later reduced to 100 mm.
Around 1900, Victorinox also produced another model in 100 mm, the so-called " Explorateur ", model no. 290. It was very similar to an army knife.
