The history of model no. 2215 begins in the 1960s. The model no. 2215 was a model no. 2214 with an additional saw. These variants were typical of Victorinox. A standard 2-layer version with 4 tools, and an additional 5-piece variant with an additional layer with a saw. Originally, the No.2215 model had red aluminum scales and brass liners and spacers. Meanwhile, this model is made with silver aluminum scales and liners/liners made of nickel silver.
Model No.2215 had a large cutting blade, a screwdriver and a cable blade, as well as an awl and a saw. This model did not come with a shackle/key ring.
Large cutting blade: 2.8 mm; Awl: 1.8 mm; hook blade: 1.8 mm; normal screwdriver: 2.25 mm; Saw: 1.8mm
The top and bottom tiers of model No.2215 are identical to model No.2214. In between is the saw on a separate tier. This rotates around the head rivet together with the large cutting blade and the hooked blade.
Victorinox used red anodized aluminum as the scale material.
The intermediate layers and board consisted of brass, later of nickel silver; the head and foot rivets are made of nickel silver, the center rivet is made of aluminium.
