No. 246 f m

history

The model no. 246 fm was produced by Victorinox from around 1952 to around 1973 and marketed under the name "Champion". It was a 6-layer model, which had a total of 13 tools and therefore, together with model no. 146 fm, belonged to the pocket knife with the most diverse functions.

Compared to the same model with the Phillips screwdriver instead of the corkscrew, the model no. 146 fm, Victorinox produced the model no. 246 fm in addition to the scales in red Cellidor in luxurious versions with scales made of staghorn or mother-of-pearl.

Around 1973 another ply was added to Model No. 246 fm and still marketed under the 'Champion' name - Model No. 246 fm thereby disappeared from production.

functional parts

Model No. 246 fm had a small and a large cutting blade, a can opener, screwdriver, scissors, saw, fish scaler, metal file/saw and, on the back, a corkscrew, a long nail file and an awl.

The model no. 246 fm always had the addition of a toothpick/tweezers and an optional bracket/key ring. From around 1970, toothpicks/tweezers were no longer optional, but standard.
