No. 204

history

Victorinox produced model no. 204 between around 1940 and 1970. It was the basic model no. 202 with an additional narrow screwdriver. Victorinox manufactured the No.204 model using carbon steel or stainless steel tooling.

For the model no. 204, the narrow screwdriver manufactured for the models no. 202 ½ and no. 203 could not be used, but Victorinox produced a different narrow screwdriver for the model no attached to the head rivet.

Luxram company was a major buyer of model No. 203 pocket knives.

construction

Pocket knife No.204 was a 3-layer model. The upper layer consisted of a screwdriver and cable blade, the lower layer of a narrow screwdriver and awl, and the middle layer of the large cutting blade. The screwdriver, the small screwdriver and the large cutting blade turned around the head rivet, the other 2 tools around the foot rivet.

Victorinox used red fiber as the scale material for this model.

Liners/spacers/rivets

The liners and the rivets were made of steel or German silver, the intermediate layer of brass or German silver.
