No. 232 k

history

The model no. 232 k was a pocket knife, which was only produced in very small numbers by Victorinox. It is identical to model No. 2232 but has Cellidor scales rather than aluminum. This model was produced in the 1960s and 1970s, after which it was withdrawn from production.

functional parts

Model No. 232 k had a large cutting blade, scissors and a screwdriver. This model had no tools on the back. According to the 1971 catalogue, the model was only available with a toothpick and tweezers and with or without a frame.

Big blade: 2.4 mm – 2.5 mm; Scissors: 2.5mm; Screwdriver: 1.5mm

construction

The upper layer consists of the scissors, which is fixed with the foot rivet. The lower layer consists of the large cutting blade and the screwdriver.

scale material

Model No. 232 k was only available in Cellidor. When aluminum was used with the same tooling configuration, it was model No. 2232.

Liners/spacers/rivets

The circuit liners were made of aluminum on model no. 232 k, the intermediate layer of nickel silver.
